Dear friends,
Does anyone know if there's a formalized music curriculum for use in a
hebrew day school? I'm looking for something more than just a song
book--possibly something that includes pre-notation for early grades, as well
as some selections for recorder, xylophone and percussion instruments. It
should also have some assessment strands and build skills by grades. McMillan
has put out a wonderful series called "Share the Music" which uses different
volumes for each grade and goes from k through 6th. It is for use in public
schools and has a multi-cultural basis. I was hoping there was something out
there specifically for jewish kids. Let me know. Thanks. Madeline
