[HANASHIR:8735] Fwd: Nice Afikoman Gift!

A note from the Kieffers:

Dear Craig,

I can't even begin to describe to you the rush of emotions as we opened your
package in the shul. . .mostly tears (I know, big shock!) as we realized how
you let people know of our fire - and how so many of them responded. As we
read the many notes which were enclosed, we also felt that we truly are part
of one large mishpacha - even if we don't exactly recognize everyone's face.

This whole proces of being on the receiving end of tzedakah & gmilut
chasadeem is very humbling - one that we will never again take for granted
when we are in the position to be on the giving end.

Music is magic - and Jewish music is soothing, comforting and meangingful
magic for us. This large gift will go a long way to helping us in our
healing process. As we have already listened to some of the CD's & tapes in
our car (we haven't as yet bought a stereo system), we all recall different
memories that the music evokes, where we were when we heard it before the
fire, who we were with, where we were, and all of this contributes greatly to
helping us feel normal again.

I hope to be able to send personal thanks you's to everyone who sent you a CD
or tape for us. In the meantime feel free to forward this email to that very
special email listserve of Jewish music makers. Both Sam and I will be at
the CAJE Conference in Colorado this August and I hope to meet some of them
in person and thank them face to face.

Please know that we will never forget your efforts to help us rebuild our
Jewish music library - one of the most important parts of our home which we
lost. You are in our hearts forever!

Love,

Melinda & Sam
Aryeh, Aviva & Elana
