[HANASHIR:8655] Re: choir in the aisle



Having a choir walk down the aisle singing seems to me a bit performance-y, 
but perhaps if they're singing a song the congregation knows and you're in 
front helping lead the congregation, the choir may actually encourage others 
to join in.

Something I tried in the past with an adult volunteer choir was to have them 
sing a 4-part round from 4 corners of the sanctuary -- a bit like 
"surround-sound."  It enveloped the congregation in song and was very well 
liked.
