That's a great idea.
In fact, that has happened in the DC area. We started an email list
(called "dc-shir") at egroups (now called yahoogroups -- totally free), and
we've been getting together almost once per month to teach each other and
to share songs related to upcoming holidays. For a newbie like me, it's
been a lifesaver (or, more accurately, a job-saver!)
