Hi Everyone!
Now it's my turn to ask for help. I am the Network Chair for "Sexual
Orientation in Jewish Education" for CAJE, and I'm hoping to have a session
on the music of diversity. Noah, you sang an amazing song last CAJE, "The
Silent Son," which has remained with me till now. Recently there was
mention of the song "Home Is Where The Heart Is" (hey Josh, do you think
your aunt will be around CAJE this August?!?!?) and there's another called
"Don't Laugh At Me" (Peter Yarrow sings it with his daughter during
concerts) Laura Berkson, you have some wonderful songs to share (hope to
see you at HN!) Please, if there's anyone out there who will be at CAJE
this summer in Fort Collins, PLEASE contact me privately and let me know
you'll sing your song. I hope to have several people showcased and I look
forward to a strong attendance for the session. I need to know quickly,
since the Network board person would like to start getting these sessions in
place. HELP!!!
p.s. If anyone is involved with MJAC or Echo, let me know. We're looking
for someone to lead a session on suicide prevention and Danny Syme is not
planning to be at this year's CAJE conference.
