just for YOUR information, B. Herst, there actually ARE people who don't use
God's name(s) except while praying, but who are very comfortable writing the
word God, since it is not one of God's names! not to mention there are
those who don't use "Adonai" except in prayer, but are perfectly comfortable
saying El, and Yah. Then there are those who say Hallelukah but name their
daughters batya or basya and never pronounce their names baska! some say
tzvakot or tzvakos and even shakai, but still say Hamakom, and Hakadosh
baruch Hu without changes... so please don't attempt to speak on behalf of
all those who prefer to say Hashem. there is great diversity among those who
make that choice.
