[HANASHIR:8360] Re: "God Songs"

How about................

Doug Cotler's Thank You God
Peri Smilow's Thank You God (morning liturgy) & Ashrei
Peter & Ellen Allards Thank You & Offer Your Gifts to God
Ray Cook's We Thank You
Wally & Craig's Thank You Adonai
Billy Jonas' God is In
Karen Daniels' You Are There
Steve Dropkin's Hodu L'Adonai, Ein Keiloheinu, & Y'verechecha
Lisa Levine's Ruach Elohim
Judy Caplan Ginsburgh's A Little Bit of God & Shema Lullaby
Shirona's Ashrei, Ki Eleicha, Modim, Ein Keiloheinu & Yigdal
Beged Kefet's Adonai, Adonai, Bayom Hahu, & Hariu L'Adonai
Any number of other Bayom Hahu versions
Rachelle Nelson's Modeh Ani
Nomi's Adon Olam, Modeh Ani & Eil Adon
Rick Calvert's Modim Anachnu Lach & Hariu L'Adonai
Robbi Sherwin's Ki L'olam Chasdo
Danny Maseng's Ki L'olam Chasdo
Rabbi Shefa Gold's Ma Yakor & From World to World
Cantor Wally's Modim

Just to name a few.

I think the amount of sharing that happens on this list is incredible. But
I encourage all of you to start your own music collection (both audio and
print music). It is never too early - it is never too late. When you hear
a song you like, find out where to get it, add it to your collection, learn
it, share it. This is how you grow in your craft. There are literally
hundreds of Jewish music books and recordings out there. Put aside some
cash each year to purchase something new. If you are serious about "doing"
Jewish music, then you must have the tools with which to do it. Coming to
Hava Nashira is a start, but collecting, learning and sharing is the
continuation. Go and learn!
