Gayle,

A suggestion for an opening/towards the beginning song.  I have used "Y'did 
Nefesh" by Joanna Selznick (I forget her married name) both on it's own terms 
and as a niggun.  She taught it at Hava Nashira a few years ago, and it has 
become very successful in our congregation.

I know she's lurking out there on this list, so maybe she can send you the 
information.
