The shul where I teach had a family Tu B'Shevat seder yesterday.
(Background: I think I only knew on Tu B'Shevat song as recently as a few
months ago).
My songleading was a _major_ hit, primarily becuase of songs I learned
here, and in a local "dc-shir" group.
The biggest hits, the songs that went over best, hands down, were these
three, in no particular order:
1. The Tree Song - Josh Miller
2. Tu B'Shevat Cha Cha - Karen Daniel
3. Borey Borey Pri Ha'Etiz - Shlock Rock
and also a fourth is worth mentioning, went over well well also:
4. Planting Song - Jeff Klepper
(this worked particularly well as a closing song for us, because those that
attended the seder were invited to plant a tree immediately afterwards)
If this list can come up with songs that went over this well for Purim,
I'll be on cloud nine!
