Shircago (in Chicago) does Jewish a capella music.  

Also, during my brief sojourn in CA the last half of '99 I attended the West 
Coast A Capella Summit at a college in San Rafael. I'm sure you could find them 
on the web - I did at that time.  It was a wonderful few days of awesome a 
capella music of many types. They would be a good connection for information 
also.
