[HANASHIR:7896] Re: Guitar-led service in Israel prevented

i am framkly shocked to see the number of people who are willing to roll over
and apologize for the lack of religious freedom in israel. if this were
mississippi or south africa, we would be angry and righteous. but when our own
jewish state violates human rights and our own
religious freedom, we find a way to cover our embarassment by some elaborate
hemming and hawing. i personally say that i would rather have a pluralistic
state that respected human rights than a jewish one that violated them. i pray
tht it doenst come down to that. but if
that is your idea of zionism, then you can have it to yourself.
forbidding free religious observance in a hotel, for goodness sake. and the
guests who are paying the bills willingly go along with it. it is martin
luther kings birthday. how about ending second class citizen treatment for
minorities in israel, eh? and why not end the uncle
tom bs and getting mad?
