Chevre: My rabbi (reform) has asked me to help him with a Tu B'shevat
seder on a Friday night AFTER services (you heard right!) He wants to do a
short service and then this. Apparently there's some new publication for
Tu B'Shevat out by the uahc which I haven't seen yet. I'm thinking of
pieces to do that would get the congregation (which could be very mixed w/
old and young) really into this. So far I'm thinking of Jeff Klepper's
"The Planting Song," Debbie's "Trees are Blowin' in the Wind," A few cutesy
movement songs for the younger set (I have plenty of those) and I've heard
there's an "Atzey Zetim Omdim" that's done in a conga line. Any other
"top 10 songs" for Tu'B'Shevat out there that would appeal to adults?
Thanks.
