[HANASHIR:7815] RE: Maybe it's "Parent's Prayer"

Noah:

I am quite certain that you are seeking their version of the Y'varech'cha
prayer. Many people mistakenly call this blessing the "parent's blessing of
the children." This text IS used as part of the routine blessing of children
by parents at Kaballat Shabbat, but it is preceded with the appropriate
version of the blessing of Ephraim and Menashe. The Priestly Benediction, or
Three-Fold Blessing, also known as the Y'varech'cha, is the text for Ma
Tovu's song which contains a beautiful English counterpoint melody to the
Hebrew of the bracha, handsomely yet liberally translating it into words of
blessing from parents to their children.

I am sure Mr. Brodsky could elaborate further, but I am quite sure that Mah
Tovu's "Y'varech'cha" found on their "Only This" album, is the song you
seek.

Maybe the song by Ma Tovu that I'm looking for is called "Parent's
Prayer."
Ring a bell? If so, still looking for a recording/and or sheet music.
Todah.
