Sorry , but at SSDS here in Illinois, they do rehearse after school, and
there are several all-day Sunday rehearsals before the big production. I
think ours is only 8th graders, can't be sure. They sign a contract along
with their parents committing to the rehearsal schedule. Also, most
rehearsals are sectionals or band only, with only the last 4 or 5 entire
cast. It's been that way for years apparently and works pretty well. Hope
