Dear Friends,
I am directing an amateur adult choir at my Synagogue. We are presenting a
Yom Hashoah program in April and a Shabbat featuring Sephardic and Ladino
works in June. I have ordered some books from Tara on Holocaust and
Sephardic music. However, I am having some problems weeding through the
mountains of music at Transcontinental. My question to all of you is can you
recommend any particular choral pieces in the above categories Holocaust and
Sephardic Liturgical/Ladino that would be of about medium difficulty for
amateur synagogue choir? If anyone has recommendations for the same subjects
but for a young children's choir, that would also be appreciated.
Todah rabbah, V' Chag Sameach,
Donna Gordon
