Hello All,
I thought I would expand on my previous posting about the wonderful evening 
we had at my house on Saturday.  

My living room is forever changed.  Each time I enter it I see and hear Fran 
Avni standing by the window singing to us.  Fran presented an intimate 
informal concert consisting  mostly of her music arrangements from Israel 
World Beat and Marcia Falk's Blessings in Song.   Fran sang to us and led us 
all in song with the wonderful assistance of Carole Rivel on keyboards, and 
Rick Calvert, who drove all the way down from Connecticut to join in. 

A house concert was a great way to experience Fran's ability to energize us 
with her wonderful music while at the same time creating an aura of peace in 
the room.  She is a skilled performer with a beautiful voice.  We all enjoyed 
the music and the intimacy of the evening which allowed us to hear Fran in a 
small venue and also gave all the guests the opportunity to chat with her.

As the hostess of the event my family and I not only had the pleasure of the 
concert but we also had the enjoyment of getting to know Fran, who is a warm, 
gracious and very talented woman.
