[HANASHIR:7502] Re: need prophet music!!!

Hi all,
I am a Yiddish speaker and The Yiddish words in the complete version
were good. In the fifth line, the word nach should be nacht for "night"
but, I understood every word. Yes, there are many variations in
pronunciation and that's OK as long as it is not gibberish.(Oy vay, have
I heard some "non" Yiddish Yiddish even in concerts.) Debbie Friedman's
Eliahu Hanavi is a georgeous piece, and I'm sorry it has gone out of
use--a shame. There is also an adorable Chanukah round, similar to the
Steve Richards round, by Cantor Alan Leider, called Lots of Latkes: Lots
of latkes, lot's of latkes, lots of latkes..lets all eat 'em up(2x)
                                                      Sevivon Sov sov (3
additional times)Repeated twice
                                                      Macabbee,
mac-a-bee, macabee, mac-a-bee, macabee, mac-a-be

Mak-mak-mak-mak-mak-mak-mak-mak (2x)
The kids love it. If you want it, let me know.
