Subject: [HANASHIR:7363] Choral Music for winter concerts in public schools
Date: Fri, 10 Nov 2000 17:10:10 -0500

hi all,

Do you know if there are some suggested lists of Jewish choral music to
provide to leaders of childrens choirs in public schoolsappropriate for use
in winter concerts for elementary/middle/high school students respectively?
Our school district has few Jewish students and the winter concerts include
a good number of religious Christian selections. I think that at least some
of the cause of that is inertia and would like to provide them some Jewish
music selections to get them past "I Have a Little Dreidel" as their flag
of diversity. Thanks for any help!
