Hi folks,
I am embarking on a new project to home record a bunch of my songs and put
them up on my web site with sheet music or at least chords and words. (At
the moment the main thing on my web site are my boring political science
papers, but if you'd like to see it, it is www.fas.harvard.edu/~mesquita)
I am the proud new owner of a 4-track, which I am slowly learning to use.
Anyway, I am sure there are many people out there who have some expertise
in home recording, so I'm looking for any advice, tips, etc. that you have
for recording with a 4-track, transferring said recordings to a computer,
and/or getting them up on the web. Advice could include recording tricks,
ways to make things sound good, equipment that might be useful (like
effects stuff), useful software, or anything else you can think of. Email
the list or send me a private email, either way.
Thanks in advance.
Shabbat Shalom.
Ethan
