[HANASHIR:7299] Re: Recommendations on tape recorders and computer program

You can make an analog connection thru the headphone out jack on a portable
minidisc with an appropriate patch cord for your application. I have done
this to transfer stuff to CD-A using one of those stand alone CD recorders
and it works great. Minidisc has many editing capabilities impossible with
both tape and CD -so you can get the minidisc just how you want it then
record it to CD or even cassette (for learning those songs in the car!) I
haven't gotten into computer recording so don't know about that! My
minidisc is a Sharp MDMT-15 - retails for around $180 thru Circuit City or
Best Buy, then the mic is a Sony stereo mic that costs around $75.
