If you need to contact Bill Russell for permission, you might try finding him 
through SOCAN, the Canadian performing rights organization.  I hosted him on a 
folk concert tour in 1976or so when I was living in the mountains of Northern 
British Columbia and remember him sitting in front of my oven while I was 
baking and singing "Biscuits in the Oven".  I had the impression then he was 
making it up on the spot but could be wrong.  He had just made an album called 
"From Old Leaves".
