[HANASHIR:6979] Re: Yom Kippur Music

How old are the kids in this service? That makes a difference. If
they're young I'd do "Child's Prayer," to set the quiet mood. Other good
songs are: "Hayom, Hayom, Hayom, Hayom" by Ida Rose Feingold, "I Am Sorry"
by Cantor Bernard (Buzzy) Walters, "L'Shana Tova to You & You" by I. R.
Feingold, the traditional "Avinu Malkeinu," (IRF) also has an easy version
of this which is quite nice . All these songs are in her book called "The
Torah Connection". There's also a nice song called "Turning, Turning,
Turning" published in the child's Yom Kippur Siddur (paperback) I believe by
KarBen. Tree of Life is always a hit, as is Sim Shalom by Margie & Ilene.
I also like to introduce the melody of "V'Al Kulam".
