[HANASHIR:6914] Re: anthem help

Hi guys,

I've been around, lurking and reading but not writing much.

Marsha, I too bought a Steve Dropkin songbook (thank you Steve). I bought it
for his version of Ein Keloheinu, which is wonderful and very "congregation
friendly."

When we did E.K. in the past, we had been using the traditional melody or the
one by Hans Wurman in G.O.S.(he lives in Chicago and he's still around
playing organ and composing. He's in his 70's)

I have a question for the group. I have been using the following as closing
songs for Friday night Shabbat services. Can anyone make suggestions to add
to this list.

Adon Olam (various melodies)
T'filat Haderech (Friedman)
L'chi Lach (Friedman)
Ein Keloheinu (Trad., Wurman, Dropkin)
Shalom Chaverim (Composer?...I use it for children's services)
Adonai Oz (Klepper)

Thanks in advance for any help.

Rick Mann
