Dear Julie and Hevre,
The song is called "Eden Once Again" and was composed by Rabbi Margot Stein.
The lyric was extracted, with Judy Chicago's permission, from her poem
entitled "Merger" that appears on p. 127 of the KOL HANESHAMAH: Shabbat
Vehagim prayerbook published by the Reconstructionist Press.
I have a chart, as well as a four-part arrangement available, and would be
happy to share it, once I secure Rabbi Stein's permission to do so. The song
will be published next year as part of a song book featuring liturgical music
by graduates from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College. It can also be
heard on a CD/tape set that will be released in November, 2000, and keyed to
the prayerbook. The recording is geared for lay and/or professional "shlihey
tzibbur" (my preferred term, Julie!).
Please email me privately, AFTER the Tishrey hagim, for copies of this
wonderful song.

Hi! Does anyone know if there is music for the poem by Judy Chicago called
Merger?
(And then all that has divided us will merge.
And then compassion will be wedded to power.
.......And then everywhere will be called Eden once again.)
And if there is music where might it be found (CD, books, etc).
Thanks!
