The song "Amen" that Laura Berkson is looking for is found in a new
publication called "Shirim L'a-Ohavim Lashir - Songs for Those Who Love to
Sing" by Efi Netzer. This is a beautiful and very complete Israeli Song
Anthology, which is available through TARA. It contains the melody line and
guitar chords, but it is clearly intended for Israelis or those comfortable
in Hebrew. All the notes about the songs are written in Hebrew, although the
musical notation is written with transliteration. It is also a very
expensive volume, but an excellent addition to an extensive music library.
Laura - I hope you can teach "Amen" to your choir. It is truly a beautiful
and moving song. I am hoping to include it in my annual music program this
year.
