Hello Janine, some suggestions -
"Cry me a river" by Arthur Hamilton... (it was sung by Barbra Streisand in the
early sixties.)
"The Rose", (sung by Bette Midler) by Amanda McBroom
"Smile" by Charlie Chaplin

When I asked for help with music for the "take back the night" march I
guess I should have been a little more specific. What I'm looking for,
essentially, is a song of healing ... that is in English. The more political
stuff gets chanted along the route ... the stories of abuse get told in person
... it's a very painful and powerful evening. My job is to bring some
quietness ... some healing ... some hope for peace at the end of the event.
Any thoughts on this?
