Noach - one of my very favorites (and Abby Gostein will concur) is "In The
Night" by Saul Kaiserman. You can find the chords in the original NFTY
chordster - it's haunting and very special. Give me a call and I'll sing it
for you. Sam Glaser's "Hineni" has a verse about the Holocaust and his
"Born to Remember" is devastingly beautiful. Both are available notated in
his songbook. My song, "The Chosen" also speaks to the Shoah, "I Never
Saw Another Butterfly, lyrics by 14-year-old Pavel Friedman, really hits
home for this age group and Hannah Senesch's "Eili, Eili," is a beautiful
song of hope and belief. "Dona, Dona" is a standard, as well. This is it
off the top of my head - I'm sure there'll be more to add later and some
excellent suggestions from the group.
