I totally agree. I tried the guitar—NOT MY BAG. I really need to have music;
I’m willing to purchase sheet music if it is something I can use. I don’t
lead services all that often, because I sub. But when I do, I like to
sometimes try new pieces or even introduce them to our regular soloist. But
none of us has the time to figure out melodies from CD’s or lead sheets. Our
congregation sometimes has a guitarist at a family service and for special
services we have had instrumentalists accompany us.
