I would like to recommend Carol Boyd Leon's new (and first) recording, Songs
>From The Heart, Family Shabbat. It clearly demonstrates her love for Jewish
music AND her commitment to composing music that is appropriate for young
children and families. And how wonderful that her music is so accessible for
choirs to sing! The lyrics are easy to remember and the melodies are easy to
learn.  I also commend her for providing not only the recording, but the
songbook as well. As publishers of our own recordings and songbooks, I know
how formidable this can be. Carol can be proud of the cohesiveness of this
CD/songbook package.

I watched Carol as she thought about and then took on the task of birthing
her project. She asked a lot of questions, did a lot of research, and then
created a recording and songbook that will be a great resource for
songleaders and choir directors. Good luck Carol and we look forward to
more!
