Hi Ellen,

It was nice to speak with you the other day. Thank you for aiding us in our
search for a music teacher.

The position is part-time ( although it could be full time if they taught
Spanish as well), and opens up in early December.  Solomon Schechter is K-8
with approximately 110 students.  We are looking for someone with an
instrumental and/or vocal background  (the 4th grade curriculum includes
teaching recorder).   A Judaic background is desired, but not essential.
The
overall curriculum should include multi-ethnic music as well as traditional
Euro-Western Classical music.
