[HANASHIR:6258] Adon Olam

It is based on a Sepahrdic (North African) version of Yigdal, which can also
be used for Adon Olam. It is very popular in Israel, where it is sung
faster, like a march. The slower version (the chording, especially the use
of Bm and Em, hanging on the G, and repeating the final word of each verse)
was arranged by a friend of Rabbi James Goodman. Jim lives in St. Louis
and is a brilliant musician who gave a music workshop at the first R'faeinu
Healing Conference a few years ago. I learned it there and recorded it for
my album In This Place. It is in the key of D major. The chords are simple
(hyphen = one bar):

4/4 D - Bm - D - A -
    G - D Bm - Em A - 2/4 Bm A -
4/4 G - G - (D.C.)
