Richard,

As something of a traditionalist myself, I feel out of step with some of
Hava Nashira; it's a discomfort which is good for me, I think.  I feel a
lot of respect and affection for the "alte kockers" (God willing, I'll be
one myself in not too long!), and I'm grateful that some of them show up.

Somewhat along the same line, I'd like to see a "davening clinic", with
evaluation similar to the songleading evaluations.  I love to daven, and I
think it's a skill worth working on and passing on.

A happy and meaningful Shavuot to all!
