Hi Susan,
I use a Shure headset microphone when I am teaching, etc.  It cost  
approximately $350.  The waist pouch that the transmitter  sits in while I am 
using it cost an additional $35.  It was a great investment for me.  It has 
made my life much easier in the classroom.  Hope this helps.  If you have any
