[HANASHIR:6052] Re: Headpiece microphone

Yeh, yeh, I've heard the joke about looking like Madonna (only from the neck
up!) as I've used a headpiece microphone in my music classes and even on the
bimah for years, although not for adult services. The freedom of movement
it gives me is worth the drawback of its appearance; and people get used to
how it looks pretty quickly. I especially like how I can stand at the ark
with my back to the congregation and still be heard. For classes, I wire
the mic into a good-quality portable speaker. For services, I've plugged
into the PA system. -- Carol
