[HANASHIR:5452] Virus Alert

All,

I have just gotten done (hopefully) deleting a Trojan worm type virus from
my system.  It sends itself to one's whole address book.  I'm HOPING it
didn't send itself from my system, since I never officially set up an
address book - but just in case, I want to warn the list.  It's called
"PrettyPark."  If you get this as an attachment from me or anyone else,
delete it immediately.  DON'T OPEN IT!!  Trust me.  It's more trouble than
it's worth.

Once I found out the nature of this bug, I tried to stay off my pop internet
server and away from Outlook Express to minimize the chances of this thing
sending itself from my system.  I tried to warn the list from an alternate
non-pop email address (which allows me to download my regular email as
well), but the list refused it since the email address is not officially on
the list.

In any case, if anyone received this virus from me, I profoundly apologize.
Both MacAfee and Norton are able to get rid of it.  Unfortunately, you have
to delete an important file to get rid of it, and it's a big hassle to put
it back.  Both programs tell you how, however.
