I think these words are a little outdated, and quite frankly, not the kind of 
message I want to send to my choir kids, boys or girls.  I've re-written the 
words:
Oh Esther was courageous and wise
In Shu Shu Shushan long ago
She saved the Jewish people from their demise
In Shu Shu Shushan long ago
