A nice song if you want a song that's more for the whole family than for the 
bat mitzvah girl, is Steve Dropkin's "Blessings:"
...blessings for our families who make our house our home, for children's 
dreams and parents' hopes, our blessings of shalom."

BTW, it was at my temple's "bat mitzvah" that we sang Karen's "Thirteen 
Years" (with words suitable for a congregation).  We loved it. -- Carol
