Isn't it too bad that an innovative musical program that celebrates God's
creation should generate such negative postings. Everyone has the right to
make comments and I would never stop anyone from expressing their opinions.
I for one, as a co-commissioner, am looking forward to helping all of my
participants make this one of the highlights of their Jewish experience.
They will remember this service for the rest of their lives. The music is
accessible and the ruach generated is uplifting and heart warming.
Participants range in age from six to sixty and their interaction and cross
encouragement is infectious and priceless. On this shabbat shirah, no matter
whether it's erev or motaei, the adrenaline will be pumping and the souls
will be moved. In spite of the kareoke format or perhaps because of it, the
experience will be electric and unforgettable.
