just a word re authorship: if it's the same "Inch by Inch" I'm thinking of
(Inch by inch, row by row/ Gonna make this garden grow) etc.,  Rise Up
Singing ID's the title as the Garden Song, by Dave Mallet, (c) 1975, 1978
Cherry Lane Music, recorded on "Dave Mallet" as well as Pete Seeger "Circles
& Seasons" and "Precious Friend", "John Denver" and a number of other
recordings.
