[HANASHIR:4768] Music for Shabbat Shira

I'd like to throw my shekels into the pot as well. Since it is Shabbat
Shirah, I feel that the congregation should do the singing. To this end I
would teach a niggun at the beginning of the service and repeat it during the
service both as a niggun and as the tune for various prayers (along the lines
of Debbie's Havdalah). I would also mix in the congregation's traditional
tunes, to provide them with the experience of prayer through song. I would
also minimize readings. I remember doing this at camp once and it was really
beautiful.

Just a thought...
