[HANASHIR:4760] Re: Tu B'Shevat Music-A Semi-Shameless Plug

I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I have been specializing in Israeli
material for many years and have created and produced material that works for
Tu Bishvat - as a matter of fact, I taught much of it to a troupe created by
JNF three years ago at the Brandeis Institute in LA, to train performers to
go into schools and perform Tu Bishvat - JNF material.

For those interested in Hebrew songs for Tu Bishvat - Natati Etz BaMoledet,
Eretz Zavat Chalav in its new rendition, and Shorashim - Roots are found on
ISRAEL WORLD BEAT - ERETZ available directly from me, along with the
accompanying songbook arranged for choruses - or through TARA. And you can
listen to cuts on my artist home page at Jewishmusic.com
As well, for the younger set, my "TREES" song and "Care for the World" from
DAISIES AND DUCKLINGS" are standards almost for Tu Bishvat. There is also
Shir LaShkeydiya recorded on the Tal Sela program and found in my Holiday
Songbook for Kids on TARA.
(SOME OF THESE SONGS ARE NOW FOUND IN RABBI ARTHUR WASKOW'S newly published
book from JPS). There are also wonderful songs on SHOSHANIM- V'Natan Etz
HaSadeh etc
If anyone is interested, please call me at 514-737-9630 in Montreal or just
email me directly. I hope this doesn't sound like a commercial - I usually
sit back.
